I will be sitting down this coming fortnight to record my Dr Sustainability Podcast Episode with Derek Walker, Future Generations Commissioner for Wales.
The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 was introduced along with The Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales to ensure public bodies are working towards improving the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being of current and future generations….in essence the spectrum of sustainability.
With the legislation reaching its 10 year milestone in operation, I very much look forward to this meeting of minds with Derek.
Through discussion we hope share with our listeners, insight into the work of the Commission, the inner mechanics of the powers under the legislation, a critical analysis of progress made by public bodies, as well as thrashing out the road ahead in Wales…to deliver the Wales people want!
