I’m delighted to share my next Dr Sustainability Podcast guest is I. Stephanie Boyce FKC, FRSA, 177th President of The Law Society for England and Wales.
· The Law Society is a key part of the judicial system within the UK and is the professional body for all solicitors in England and Wales.
· I. Stephanie Boyce FKC, FRSA made British history as the first person of colour and 6th woman to become the President for the Law Society for England and Wales.
· Stephanie is a Solicitor in her own right covering a range of public and civil law including litigation, corporate governance, regulatory framework and professional regulation.
· Stephanie took her presidency role during March 2021. Her presidency period took place during a time of uncertainty in the UK with the country coming out of Covid restrictions, whilst the economy was recovering, the covid party-gate scandal was getting investigated, when the UK Prime Minister role changed hands and the country headed into wars.
· During her presidency, Stephanie played a key role as part of the judicial system to keep law and order aswell as justice in the country.
