*Dr Sustainability’s Educational UK Roadshow*

I kicked off the Dr Sustainability’s Educational UK Roadshow yesterday with Year 5 and 6 classes at Adamsdown Primary School (Cardiff).

For me, educating the younger generation always hits home how our actions impact others and highlights the importance of taking action collectively.

As part of the session I shared a preview of my upcoming animation with the students….I think I was more excited than the students.

The theme of the session was ‘Sustainability and Fashion’…and let’s be honest we are all impacted by and impact fashion!

‘Fashion’ 🛍 is an important topic with everyone of us connected, mass buying taking place, rapid growth of fast fashion, use of low quality material, issues of design, recycling and material flow, complex global supply chains, labour exploitation and….the fashion sector contributing to 10% of all global emissions.

During the session I was taken back by some very bright sparks in the audience. It is reassuring to see how engaged the younger generation is to contribute to a better world…there is hope 🙌!
