Cardiff University – PhD Graduation

Home | Blog | Cardiff University – PhD Graduation

It is with great honour I have graduated with my PhD from Cardiff University, which explored Low Carbon Procurement for Sustainability in Wales. I am humbled to have graduated in front of my peers, family, friends and my seniors.

No one in this world is ‘self-made’, that includes me. A lot of people have shaped me and my work over the years. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to my exceptional supervisory committee; Ken Peattie, Jane Lynch and Anne Touboulic who have a very special place in my heart. Words cannot begin to describe what they have done to shape me into the person I am today. I would like to show special appreciation for two people that I feel incredibly fortunate to have met: Gunther Kostyra and Dr Eurgain Powell. Your passion for and remarkable insight into Sustainability in Wales is inspirational and the selfless way you endorsed my work is truly valued.

I would also like to thank all the organisations and individuals involved in the research. In particular, special thanks go to all those who were involved from the public sector who, even during turbulent times, continued to appreciate the importance of the research, and, in turn, selflessly took valuable time out of their schedules to make their respective contribution.
