Something to make you laugh, well hopefully!
As I flicked through the first Dr Sustainability YouTube video I came across the autogenerated subtitles…
Mmmm, ‘Dr Fishniara Vegan’…was I that off pronouncing my own name? Was it down to the quality of the artificial intelligence software?
I do know some of us south asians face a challenge with prouncouncing ‘B’ and ‘V’, it is commonly known about 😉
I know I’m Bangladeshi and some people from that neck of the woods (Bangladesh) do enjoy eating fish, including me, but I assure you it hasn’t been built into my name too.
Then again, maybe using the name ‘Dr Vegan’ might be quite fitting within the scope of sustainability and climate action haha. It’s a good thing for YouTube I have a sense of humour.
But, you will be pleased to know, to regain my dignity in this public space, this blunder has since been manually corrected (yes, by a human). There’s still hope of us humans in the workplace.
Abit of a coincidence, I’m just about to start lecturing this morning on ‘Artificial Intelligence’ within the scope of Corporate Social Responsibility. Enjoy your manic mondays folks!
