The highlight of our week at Centre for Sustainability and a reminder why tackling climate change really matters was our virtual session today on plastic pollution and climate change with the pupils at Adamsdown Primary School (Cardiff).
To explain plastic pollution and climate change to a group of 100 pupils, aged 8-9 years old was not only a challenge but also an opportunity to enlighten the next generation, not something we get a chance to do everyday.
It reminded me of the importance of finding a unique balance, using suitable language whilst delivering the intrinsic core message to an audience…If we can effectively explain the biggest international agenda to a group of 8-9 years old there is hope for the future.
